NCLD Youth STEMLab Workshop
3/19/2025
Join William T. Fee, a lead instructor of the STEMlab at the State Library of Pennsylvania for a day of hands-on learning. Participants will learn concepts of single board computers, robots and paper circuits. Youth professionals will also learn how to borrow resources from the STEMlab for free to expand their programming for their community. These materials can be circulated for six weeks. You can check out the Discovery Collections tab on the State Library catalog, or go directly to the STEMlab Collection. Participants will receive 4 hours of CE. The workshop will be held on March 19th at the James V Brown Library from 10:00-3:00. Lunch will be provided for full day participants. This is a service of the North Central Library District.

Standards for Excellence Workshop
3/26/2025
North Central Library District, along with the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO), will hold an in-person workshop at the James V. Brown Library Lowry Room in Williamsport on Wednesday, March 26, featuring the Standards for Excellence, a framework of best practices in nonprofit governance. Register to attend this free workshop geared toward district member trustees and library directors. Lunch and parking are provided at no cost.
