DESCRIPTION:Join us at Mt. Pisgah State park for a one-day \nProject Learning Tree Educator Workshop! \n  \nDate:       April 7\, 2026 \nTime: 9:00 a.m.  –  3:30 p.m. \nLocation: Mt. Pisgah State Park Nature Center \nCost: Sponsored by Friends of Mt. Pisgah \nAct 48: 5.5 Act 48 hours \n  \nThis workshop is open to all educators from formal teachers to naturalists\, scout leaders\, and others! \n\nParticipants will receive PLT’s Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Guide which includes 50 hands-on\, multidisciplinary activities to connect children to nature and increase young people’s awareness and knowledge about their environment. Most activities are designed to take one or two 50-minute periods of instruction. Topics include trees and forests\, wildlife\, water\, air\, energy\, waste\, climate change\, invasive species\, community planning\, and more. \n\nBring lunch and dress for outdoor fun! \nRegistration closes April 2nd.
